Michelle Brasier: Reform (Special Taping)
Part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Sunday 12 April, 2:00pm & 4:00pm
After a fully sold out run at Edinburgh fringe and being reviewed one of the top 5 of the thousands of shows on offer, Michelle Brasier figured she could probably milk her show REFORM a little more by performing it in Melbourne, this time not during a pandemic (cute!) and this time for a very special taping (the taping of a very special). For two shows only Michelle is coming home to Comedy Republic.
Reform is a cautionary tale of an online scam and the urge to empathise with, understand, and become the emergency contacts of those who have done us wrong. A theatrical hour of storytelling and music, with Tim Lancaster playing the role of his own worst enemy. Maybe the real Facebook Marketplace is the friends we make along the way.
*there will be cameras, if you are in hiding for crimes etc, make sure you wear a little hat AND this will probably sell out please book fast, I can’t do extras - I have to go back to the musical I am doing where I do a two hour long impression of Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny (this is real).
